Okay all you mommas out there, I need your help! Brian and I are finishing up with all of the things we'll need for Avery's arrival. I've been scouring Craigslist for the last week, but I'm not totally sure what I should even be looking for. One of the things that we DON'T have yet is a baby swing. We have a little rocker swing that sits on the floor, but we don't have a big swing that she can lay in and swing front/back or side/side and listen to soothing music. We've been told that this is a MUST bc it's great sleep-time for baby :)
Are there any other items that you ABSOLUTELY would not have been able to live without? I'm talking 100% essentials here, not just GREAT products that were pretty helpful, but... you know when I mean. If you could only have one or two things...what would they be?

Hey Roxanne! You're getting so close- how exciting!!! Well EVERY baby is different, so I don't know what to tell you. Jackson never liked his swing, but he loved the bumbo starting around 3 months. He always wanted to be held, so I "wore" him a lot in the baby bjorn and sling. I think as long as you have one toy to set her in when you need a free hand, you will be fine. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well, and I can't wait to see your sweet baby girl! :-)
Hey girl...I'm glad things are going well with your pregnancy...just thought I would share this advice I was given since you mentioned the swing...2 of my friends that have babies swear by this swing... https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3090973&fromRegistryNumber=65397385&product_skn=48171 one of them had a really collic-y baby and said they went to the store and put her in all of the swings and tried them out and this is the only one she liked.
