Wknd Recap
This wknd was fun!! Me and Ave waited around til B got home on Friday so we could head to Keller to hang out with Brian's co-workers for the night! Super fun.
We passed the time by coloring.
Avery loved on her baby sis a little bit...she has become increasingly interested in my big belly. She always lifts up my shirt, pokes my belly, and gives it hugs. I don't think she's capable of understanding what's in there...but apparently she knows there's SOMETHING weird about it...
That night involved lots of pool time for the kiddos.
Avery loved swimming with her daddy :)
On Saturday we slept in, lounged, watched US soccer (bummer!), I napped and we went to the pool at our apartment, which always turns into playing in the dirt!
Post-pool shot.
Avery loves to check out her hot bod in the mirror.
Cheesin' for the camera.
We went to D&B for dinner Sat night...YUM!, indulged in some choc fondue for dessert, and let Avery run around the mall for a little bit before heading home and hittin' the sack!
Sunday we slept in (again...Ave has decided to sleep past 8 every day this week...which I LOVE!), went to 10:45 church, and I headed to meet Kayla to do some bridesmaid dress shopping! We found the winners pretty quickly- YAY! After daddy left for golf, I shared my shades with Averton on our trip to the sno-cone stand in McKinney. NO wknd is complete without a sno cone!!
This was Averton's face when I told her our sno-cone was all gone. I guess she can tell when I'm lying :)
Now the munchkin is in bed, and I'm probably not far behind! My mom comes into town manana and I'm EXCIIIITEDDD!
OH! And, I'm officially full term...as of last Thursday. Almost there!

Crafty Thursday
Avery looked pretty dang cute today. I don't really love putting her in onesies...but I LOVE this particular onesie (thanks Nana!)
I spent every second that Avery was sleeping to work on something relating to Cameron. I made another onesie for Cameron. I washed Avery's onesies and made her matchies! Still testing how to make them look super cute :) I think I might be addicted.
I painted the letters for Cameron's room, but haven't embellished them yet. Still figuring that out :)
I finished the very final touch on a pic frame for a friend that I started TWO MONTHS ago. Didn't turn out quite how I wanted, but oh well, it's the thought that counts, right?
Sno cones topped off our night....or that was the plan... until I couldn't resist the temptation for a chocolate lava cake. So THAT topped off MY night. And I'm heading to bed while Brian heads to the indoor facility for an 11:15 soccer game. Insane? Yes.
Hump Day
Yesterday was a busy day with nothing HUGE to do. Know what I mean? Ave slept til 9 (awesome!!), B got off to work a litttttle bit late bc of the US soccer game (also awesome), Avery came with me to run a few QUICK errands, she took 2 good 1.5hr naps, I made a couple of little onesies for Cameron (iron-on, you're right mer- so easy & fun!!), I did some more cloth diaper research and have OFFICIALLY decided what type I'm going to use! Yippeeee!! Now I just have to suck it up and make the big bulk purchase!
To all of you who responded to my post a while back asking about cloth diapering, thank you SO much for your help! Every little thing was super helpful! I've decided to go with bumgenius...hopefully we love! I'll let you know how it goes :)
I was craving fajita taco salad, so that's what we had for dinner and it was yummmmm! The avocados & tomatoes are both ridiculously delicious right now. B bathed Ave and then we watched "Alice in Wonderland". Avery was up for the first 45 minutes of the movie and was GLUED to it. So weird!!! I'm not talkin' the old school cartoon version. It was the new, weird, Johnny Depp version, and she loved it! Kinda funny. Anyway- hope everyone had a happy Wednesday, we've got a lot on our to-do list today!

Isn't that the cutest little naked bum ev?
Just for the record...Avery is seeming SO big lately! I think she has been going through a growth spurt, but she's also just growing up and getting so much more mature in her socializing and everything. CRAZINESS!! And from what I hear, as soon as we bring the new one home, it'll feel like Avery is a teenager! I don't know if I'm ready for that, ha :)

WW: I WIsh I Hadn't Lost...
LOTS of things!!
- My journal that I wrote in ALLL THEEE TIMMMME through high school in college. It was literally my heart & soul in that thing. My thoughts, emotions, prayers, experiences, lessons learned....EVERYTHING documented in there. And i LOVED going back to read it all! I still love reading my old journals and prayer journals. HOWEV- I think God took it from me to help me just LET GO of the past! So, it's okay :) But, I still would love to have that baby back.
- I didn't actually lose this one, it was stolen from me...but it feels the same. My music collection! In college, my car was broken into and no money/wallet/stereo was stolen...just my MASSSSIVE CD book of over 200 CDs that were a collection from my entire life. My music, music from my brothers, music from my dad, just...my MUSIC!! My music- OHHH my goodness my music. I still miss it! It's like a part of me was stolen!!!! :(
- The James Avery necklace my parents gave me when I got baptized. SO special to me, but I am the QUEEN of losing jewelry. At least I used to be. I am so much better now, but it's still a major challenge! I still plan on buying myself another one and keeping it FOREVERRRR.
- The cross necklace my brother carved for me. I wore it like...3 times? And then it was GONE. And I'm not kidding you it STILLLL rips my heart out. Because it's not like I can go out to buy a new one. Or even carve one for myself! That thing meant the world to me, I seriously just have JEWELRY.ISH.SHOES!!

Sup.
After our swimming pool excursion on Saturday, Avery parked it in a flowerless flowerbed and dug in the dirt foreverrr. Then she & her daddy took Kerbs on a walk. Notice her diaper still EXPLODING with pool water haha. Whoops :)
Avery led the way!
After getting all cleaned up, she had some TERRIFIC snuggle time with her daddy before bed.
While daddy played golf on Fathers' Day, Lenny came to visit us! He hung out with Avery, Ames, & I and even brought Avery and Cameron each a fun (& loud!) little Madagascar stuffed character! Avery loves anything that makes lots of noise!
Last night, Ave & I watched daddy play softball... but Averton was MUCH more interested in the red dirt/mud. By this point, her cute little blue dress was RED...and so were her hands, feet, and bottom!! She was seriously in heaven. Nothing some Shout & Tide couldn't handle!!
This morning, daddy dropped Avery off to hang out w/Colt, Angela, & Blake while I went to a Cameron check up! No real progress, but everything is looking great and normal...so we'll see again in a week! Only 23 MORE DAYS!!!!
This evening, B hung out w/Ave while I met my friend Kayla @ Starbucks. We usually meet every Tuesday but hadnt been able to in a few weeks, so the time was MUCH appreciated!! She's getting married in September so it was GRRREAT to catch up on the details of the wedding planning!! CANT WAIT for the big day!

World Cuppage
Whew!
I played soccer growing up...it's DEF my fav sport to play! HOWEV, I have never been a huge fan of professional soccer. If ESPN had always covered soccer then I'm sure I would have watched, but my spectating time has always been dominated by baseball, football, basketball...etc. Not until the MLS came along did I really begin to become a fan of professional soccer.
The World Cup, however, is a different story. It's kind of like the Olympics. A worldwide competition. AWESOME. The US team has been making me CRAZY so far! Our match with England was super exciting...a draw was a MORE than acceptable outcome. But then- game 2 vs Slovenia was just craziness! I freaked Avery out more than once by jumping up off the couch and shrieking in excitement/disapproval/shock....
We've been watching pretty much any match that comes on, but this weekend we've got some competition going on in our house. We only have 1 TV, and we've got the World Cup AND the US Open. Usually, I'd be all about watching golf...but I can't give up my World Cuppage. Not to mention that the college world series is starting! If the Horns hadn't blown it, our house would REALLY be in a bind! Maybe it's time to sell one (or both!) of our MASSIVE TVs that are sitting out in the garage and invest in a nice, small TV set suitable for our bedroom.
I can't believe that one month's worth of soccer MIGHT be justifying the purchase of a new TV :)
