I {heart} you Austin, Texas!!

We spent last wknd in my fave place in America.  We had missed the previous few years' T-association reunions, so we were pumped to finally get to attend again!  We spent Friday night in Georgetown with B-Rizzle's college roomie & his fam.  We FINALLY got to meet little Ewan...such a cutie!  He was so sweet to the girls, shared all of his toys like a champ, and kept referring to Aves lovingly as, "that girl".  The 4 Bradfords spent that night in the same room.  All FOUR of us.  TOGETHER.  Needless to say...the night involved little sleep.  It was good to be reminded how blessed we are that we're able to live in a home that allows each of us to have our own room to sleep in!  Some people HAVE to sleep that way! I guess (hope) that maybe you just get acclimated?

Brian got up & outta there before the sun rose on Saturday to spend the day playing golf.  We hung around a bit and then headed into Austin to lunch @ Kerbey Lane w/some of my girrrrls (& baby Knox!!).  LOVED seeing some of my most favorite people who I miss so much!  Linzer was a trooper for bringing Knox in the middle of his nap-time (and for bringing her pregnant self!  She's expecting again..woohoo!!)  Driving through campus with my 2 BABIES in the backseat was kind of crazy.  I do NOT feel that far removed from UT.  Being on campus brings me the most overwhelming happiness I can't even put it into words.  I miss that place like crazy and consider it a gift from God every time I get to go back.  It just gives me peace.  Weird.  I know.  But it does :)  Anywho- A big bowl of Kerbey Queso was just as delish as I remembered.   And our subsequent trip to SnoBeach was perfection as well :)  Livin' the life.  We spent the rest of the afternoon hangin' out @ Banana's house until I had to meet B for the big dinner that night!  Riles, Tbabe, Banana, & her roomie took care of the girls for us (thx loves!) and we had a super great time.  LOVED getting to meet the new coaches, hear them talk up the team & their philosophies.  I particularly enjoyed talking w/the new strength & conditioning coach.  Wish we couldn't talked for an house! Mack seemed extra excited and encouraged about this year and all the coaching changes that took place (but that's his job right?...and he's dannnng good at it!)  After the dinner, we grabbed the girls & hit the road to F-Burg to meet my Pops.

 Big Poppy hadn't seen the girls in AGES (since Jan) and could hardly contain himself for the roughly 18 hours we were together.  He cooked us a yummy waffles & bacon breakfast, snuggled w/Camo on the back porch, took Aves on walks.... you know...grandpa stuff :)

We all attended the Orange-White game that afternoon.  The lettermen get to bring their little ones early to hang out on the sidelines during pre-game, so the girls enjoyed crawling around on the turf.  We got some cute pics!  All the little teeny-tinys in burnt orange were presh!  We left a little after half-time, and honestly, I only saw 2 plays the whole time.  The girls were WIPED OUT and SO ready to leave before we even arrived.  So, the ride home was pretty peaceful.  I loathed driving away from my fave place, but LOVED the time I got to spend there w/mi familia!

Bradfords ReUnited!!

We're home!!

B-Riz, Aves, & I had a SUPER time in Galvy w/Casizzle, Gmoney, & Tatum.  However, we are sooooooooooo beyond happy to be reunited w/the youngest Bradford!  We MEESED our little Camo!  Aves was so pumped to see her.  Seriously...presh.  She was @ her wit's end for most of our 7-hr car ride home, but at the mere mention of Cameron's name, the most massive and genuine smile EVER spread across her cute little face :)  Although Camo is a bit under the weather {shocker, i know} I'm pretty sure she's also THRILLED about our reunion :) 

Love my girls.  Love my hub.  Love the Wegs.  Love the beach.  Love my life :)

Boca.

So.  The hubs and I spent the last 4 days in Boca Raton, Florida w/ a bunch of fellow Alcon ppl.  It was THE BOMB.  This was our first incentive trip in the pharma sales world...hopefully the first of many if B-Rix keeps rocking :)  It was so nice to get away together with no babies to demand our attention!  We were able to be selfish for FOUR STRAIGHT DAYS.  Whoa.  Weird.  Loved every second.  Did NOT want to leave.  But couldn't WAIT to get home to my munchkins.  :)  Thanks Boo for bringing me along for the ride!!

Boca...I miss you like crazy.  I miss the sun, the warmth, the deleeeeecious food, the greatest ice cream of my entire life, the beach, the beautiful blue/green water, the vball, the socializing, the view from our room, the boat rides, the runs on the sand...  Thanks for an amazing break from the snow/ice.  We shall meet again!

Pack'n'Play

I spent my day packing up for our weekend in Lufkin. It's always a challenge to keep the munchkins entertained enough to allow time to get everyone packed! My parentals are taking Avery Sunday night through Wed night when we arrive in SL for T-giv, sooo for Aves I was packing for 10 days and 3 different locations! My sweet little ones were champs and we were able to hit the road on schedule! That never happens. Thank you, Lord, for jumperoos, high chairs, and the Backyardigans!!

Deep in the Heart of Texas...

Oh, how I miss Austin, Texas. We had SO much fun being back there this weekend!! On Friday night we went to the musical GREASE, performed by Dripping Springs High School to see my little sissy play SANDY!!! She totally rocked. I was so proud of her :) Then, Dan gave us a tour of the new galleria in Bee Caves...I LOVE IT!!! I'm so jealous that it got fininshed (OF COURSE) right after we left! I would DEF recommend Mimi's Cafe...DELISH! and the gelato place, for sure!

Saturday was an ABSOLUTE blast! The three of us (Brian and I stayed with Dan at a SWEET house where he is currently residing in Spanish Oaks) played with Kerbey all morning and then we went down the road to the pretty little fishing hole to, well...fish! Kerbey loved being out there. And the weather was amazing! It was the perfect morning :)

Later we met some friends at Zilker for some sand vball (GOSH I miss that!) and Brian and I both got a bit of a sunburn...in FEBRUARY! (yes, that's how pale I am right now.) It felt amaaaazing to be out in the WARM sun! I <heart> Zilker Park.

Later that night 8 of us went to dinner at Trudy's (still a definite fav) and then the girls and guys each went their separate ways. Girls' night was way fun. Tbaby, Moo, Banana, Eli & I spent the majority of the night just sitting on a big comfy couch at Halcyon sippin on lattes and chit-chatting the night away. I loved it. I was the official chauffer, so after I dropped everyone off at their cars, Hannah and I sat in the parking lot and had great convo. I MISS MY BANANA!! Gooood night :)

Brian and I were 100% ECSTATIC to be back at Lake Hills!!!! Oh my goodness...seriously. We miss that place like you would NOT believe. Finding a church has def presented a challenge for us here in Tyler, but we have faith that we will find our place in time :) It was great to see all of the familiar faces, hear AWESOME Mac preach it, and to hear the Mark Grutas Band rock it out. We invited Brian's old boss and his new wife to church with us (which was pretty awesome) and then went to lunch with them where we found out some AMAAAZING news!!! A prayer we've had for YEARS was answered....well...is in the process of being answered in a super INCREDIBLE way :)

This weekend reminded me how much I really miss the CITY OF AUSTIN! Gosh...that place is just awesome. It's so easy to be outside allll the time because it was CREATED for outdoorsy people. I love it. As much as we loved being in Austin, it always feels good to walk back into OUR home and plop on OUR couches :) Dan...thanks for being an awesome host!!!

Hope everyone else had an awesome weekend! Thanks for the prayers about the meeting last week...it went pretty well and um...was interesting. I'll fill you in SOON, promise!

Mini-Vacay in the Big Apple!

So... Brian and I totally had a blast in NYC :) I hadn't been there since high school when me, magen, loobs, and sexy had a blast singing at carnegie hall and roaming the city streets :) So... we don't have quite as many pictures as we had HOPED...because yours truly brought the digi but forgot the charger! bummer :( anyway, here are some pictoral highlights of our awesome Christmas Vacay!!!
